Step 1: 📄 Get Your Documents Ready!

To get started, visit the AEMS portal and upload the following essential documents:

  • PAN Card: Your tax identification.
  • Aadhaar Card: For identity verification.
  • Digital Signature: Needed for online applications.
  • Passport-sized Photograph: A clear and recent pic.
  • NEFT Details (Cancelled Cheque): For smooth transactions.
  • Educational Certificate: Minimum qualification is 10th grade, as per IRDAI regulations.

Step 2: 📝 Download and Fill Out the Forms

Next, download Form 1A  https://web.starhealth.in/sites/default/files/FORM-I-A.pdf  and collect the MIS form from your nearest STAR Health branch. 🏢 Fill out both forms accurately and submit them at the same branch.

Step 3: 💸 Collect Your Non-Premium Receipt

After submitting your forms, collect the non-premium receipt for the pre-recruitment exam. It’s refundable if you attend the exam, so keep it safe! 📃

Step 4: 🔍 Application Scrutiny and Verification

Once your documents are submitted, your application goes through scrutiny and verification by STAR Health. 🧐 Be patient; you’re one step closer to starting your career!

Step 5: 🎓 Begin Your Training Module

Upon successful verification, you’ll start your training. STAR Health offers this module in audio format, ideal for everyone, including visually impaired candidates. 📚 Take your time to master the course!

Step 6: 🎉 Complete Your Training & Get Certified

After finishing the training, you’ll receive your certificate from STAR Health’s training academy. 🏆 The business codes team will then generate your URN and Batch ID, followed by scheduling your exam slots for the IRDAI IC38 Insurance Advisor Exam. 📅 Almost there!

Step 7: 🌟 Accommodations for Candidates with Disabilities

If you have a disability of 40% or more, STAR Health will make necessary accommodations. Just submit your disability certificate at the STAR Health branch for approval by the Insurance Institute of India (III). 🏥

Step 8: 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Assistance for Visually Challenged Candidates

Visually challenged candidates can get assistance from a scribe who’s not connected to the insurance industry. 📑 Submit ID proof for both you and your assistant to the STAR Health branch for uploading into the AEMS portal.

Important Notes for Assistants:

  • Your assistant must carry photo identification (and a photocopy) to the exam center. 🆔
  • Inform the III about your assistant's details at least 10 days before the exam to ensure approval.

Step 9: 🖥️ Examination Process

The exam is conducted online at designated centers. 🖥️ It lasts 1 hour and carries 50 marks. Results will be announced the following day on the III portal. 🎯 Best of luck!
